Lunar touchstones continue tour

The rock that was on display Saturday at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum and Planetarium only weighs seven-tenths of an ounce. It measures an estimated 1 1/2 inches by a half-inch — and that assessment seemed a little generous.

One observer, Jim Niemeyer of Tulsa, said it could "probably be classified as a pebble."

What the stone lacks in size it makes up for in gravity, although it originated from a place where gravity isn't much of a factor.
It came from the Moon.
