Perhaps the latest slight increase in the trickle of data from JAXA's Kaguya was prompted by the impending countdown of Chandrayaan 1 on-board the ISRO's polar launcher, to remind the lunar science community that Kaguya has been orbiting the Moon for more than a year. Regardless, interest in Asia in on the increase, with more and more stories from the region repeating the news that Chandrayaan 1 is still on track for launch on Wednesday, Oct. 22.
