The long wait may finally be coming to an end. The Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and Lunar CRater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LRO & LCROSS) are now stacked and packed, running through operations necessary for its scheduled launch June 16, as Japan's Kaguya team turns completely to analysis (and hopefully more releases) of a much-heralded mission that will have ended with a bang, coming down on the Moon's southern hemisphere June 10.
If the planned launch of STS-127 is delayed on from its planned launch time past June 13, the Space Shuttle will have to wait.
