Astrium study of ESA NEXT lunar lander underway

An autonomous lunar lander, which is capable of delivering payload to the lunar surface in support of a human presence on the Moon, as well as payloads directly supporting European exploration objectives.

As reported last March 2, ESA has commissioned EADS Astrium in Bremen to continue its study proposals for the 2013 ESA NEXT lunar lander design.
