According to DigiInfo, Japan is considering sending in the Tri-Star IV into the plants. Originally developed to collect rock samples from the moon, the Tri-Star IV's light and simplistic design along with its sheet metal and canvas wheels would be more than capable of overcoming any rugged terrain.
