I was deeply saddened yesterday when I just learned that my childhood hero Robert McCall passed away 6 days ago. As an ardent admirer of him since 1971, I finally had the honor of having dinner with him and his sweet wife Louise at Spacefest 2007. I will forever treasure the memories of that evening because I was so happy to be able to tell him to his face how much his creative future artistic visions had shaped and inspired my own artistic development leading to a career as an aerospace artist for over 30 years now. Brother Bob, we both shared the same love for the future as well as the same heartfelt faith. We will eventually meet again sometime in the future on the other side of eternity.
