NASA settles on proposed SLS architecture


The latest future - bowing reluctantly to congressional pressure, cash-strapped NASA has announced it has settled on a design for a Space Launch System, a new heavy-lift vehicle that, as directed by Congress, heavily derives its architecture from Shuttle, Apollo and remnant Constellation technologies [NASA].
