Lunar 'one-way to stay' thoughts

The more I think about the Lunar One-Way-to-Stay concept, the more intriguing it is. Fundamentally, it’s one of the only ways with existing transportation systems to get the cost of early lunar experimentation anywhere near low-enough to be useful and interesting. Ultimately, for thriving two-way cislunar commerce, you need tugs, and depots, and high-flightrate RLVs. But this approach might allow you to work the problem from both ends.

Rendezvous Boom Concept

Over at Selenian Boondocks is some good evidence of thinking outside the box. Jonathan Goff and Kurt Sorensen have been discussing the Boom Rendezvous Concept.

"I think the video does a very good job of showing the basic idea," Goff writes. "First here’s an animation of a CEV doing a boom-rendezvous docking with an LSAM/EDS stack," and "another video that shows more about how the Bi-STEM system actually works."
