Space Industry growth continues in 2008

The long trend upward in space industry income continued in 2008, despite the global recession, though the rate of growth was reduced. As relayed by SpaceRef.com, The Space Report 2009: The Authoritative Guide to Global Space Activity, released March 30 by the Space Foundation, at the 25th National Space Symposium, worldwide space revenues grew nearly 2.5 percent in 2008, to $257 billion.
